Every human from Adam until those being born this very minute are born with a sinful nature and will willfully commit sins against the Holy God of the Universe. The only “good” people of this world are those who are being measured by a standard other than God’s. One man in all history stood upright and sinless, Christ Jesus the man, the son of God, the second part of the Holy Trinity.
Even great apostles sinned. As our devotional explains, the glory that can come from that is the grace bestowed upon us when we rightly confess our sins God is just in forgiving them.
Even when a believer sins greatly, God is there to forgive and restore.
