September 17 is Constitution Day

When I (and many who read this) enlisted in the military I swore and oath to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Today there are many who wish to toss the Constitution aside, say it does not apply, and rewrite America’s history. It is time to again to defend the Constitution, from all domestic enemies beginning with educating folks on the importance and meaning of the document itself.

The American Story

September 17 is Constitution Day in America because on that day in 1787, after 4 months of deliberations, the delegates at the Constitutional Convention in Independence Hall in Philadelphia proposed the Constitution they had drafted to become the Supreme Law of the land. This was the end of one historic deliberation, but it was the beginning of another. The Constitution would be “of no more consequence than the paper on which it is written,” until it was ratified by the people of the United States.

September 11, 2001. For those who were alive and old enough to remember, it is a day indelibly seared into our memories. Shock at the first plane, and terror at the second, which only worsened at the third and fourth. Throughout, there was a slowly emerging realization that this was no accident, that America was at war, and that our world had dramatically, irreversibly, changed…

Heartbroken Gold Star Father Asks Devastating Question Biden Can’t Answer

It is frustrating to be in a 20 year war and the same Islamic terrorist be in charge in the end. We (veterans) know we do not fight to the idiot politicians, most of whom could not fight their way out of a paper bag. We fought for our brothers and sisters who stood beside us. Those who like us volunteered to defend America from terrorists. The fact that the politicians failed us is; the sad reality of the situation. – Mike

Devotional Thought for Today – 09/11/21

9/11-#NEVERFORGET – 20Years Later

I clearly remember where I was and what I was doing when the Islamic terrorists perpetrated these attacks on America. Unfortunately, there is an entire generation alive today that has no first-hand recollection, some who would rewrite the history of the events, and maybe the worse some who demand we forget.

Biblically we are called to remember and render honors to the heroes of that fateful day. I have listed a number of stories related to 9/11 below ILO our usual devotional:

Memorial Day

Enormous as it is, the number of people evacuated by air from Kabul since the end of July — about 122,000 — is not large enough. Thankfully, many thousands of American citizens, third-country nationals and Afghans who worked directly for U.S. and allied military forces or embassies made it out. But many thousands of people did not, including former U.S. interpreters and their families, and Afghans classified by President Biden and his administration as “vulnerable…
