Note from the Editors: The following preface accompanied the initial publication of  “A Method for Prayer.” It was written by Matthew Henry on March 25, 1710. For ease of reading, we have sought to update some of the author’s language.

The following is from a friend and Pastor in Pakistan:

We are facing problems to survive in the rented houses. In Pakistan, most properties and owners of the houses are Muslims, therefore, they many people are facing problems by the house owners. We need to buy a house for us. We will make three portions of the house.

1-      First portion will use for the participants in the programs  of the Prisons Mission Society  as like Doctors/Nurses/Pastors and other visitors from the all areas and relatives of the prisoners and their families and our international guests temporarily stay with us for different programs.We also arrange quarterly training programs for the volunteers of the Prisons Mission Society. The volunteers come from different parts of the world for participating in the programs. The renting stay and food  of the participants in the program of the Prisons Mission Society at the hotels are very expensive. We are facing more financial problems to continue the programs of the Prisons Mission Society at  renting stay at the hotels. The stay at the hotels  is not secure in Pakistan for the guests therefore  we need help to buy a building for ministry work.

2-      Second portion will use for the office work of Prisons Mission Society.

3-      Third portion will be use for me and my family.
