GOD and Politics – 04/27/2024

The following collection of media got me thinking about the ever-growing debate about the non-existent separation of church and state clause. Today more than ever there are two great needs in our (USA) Country, those who will carry out the Great Commission of Matthew 28 and Patriots who will uphold the Constitution as the founding fathers originally intended. These two are not mutually exclusive as most would have us believe.

As in the Great Commission, in Romans 13 we find another command. This one is to submit to the authorities God has appointed over us. Nowhere in the bible does it forbid true believers from becoming those authorities. While the primary “mission” of the church and its individual members must and will always remain sharing the Good News message of Christ, electing Godly men and women to lead our society should not be ignored.
