In A Body of Divinity by Thomas Watson, he covers the question: WHAT IS THE CHIEF END OF MAN? The answer from the Westminster Shorter Catechism is that man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever. There are two ends of life specified; 1: The glorifying of God.2: The enjoying of God.

Everyone saint or sinner wants part two of the equation whether they realize it or not. That is everyone wants to enjoy life. Here however and in 1 John 1:3-4 we know that joy only comes through a right relationship with God. One needs to ask how an abortion Glorifies God? And how can that lead to Joy?
