Okay, so we took some literary liberty with the Bible verse and applied it to the picture, no harm no foul right? Not exactly. Upon reading the whole of PSLAM 19 we see that David is clearly writing about the written Law of God. One sees this in Matthew Henry Bible Commentary (complete)
That being said I do not believe it is wrong to use the analogy that human life is more precious than Gold. Here is why:
Genesis 1:26-27 We are created in the image of God
Genesis 9:6, Exodus 20:13 Murder is forbidden as all life is precious
Matthew 6:26 Man’s value acknowledged by Christ Jesus Himself
I encourage everyone to read 1 Peter 1, especially v.4-7 and v.18-20
