Not a big fan of Labor Day as the meaning of Labor for this day is really “Union”.

While Labor Day came about by the urging of Labor groups in the 1890’s, it evolved to a day in which we mark and honor the working man. Of course, like every other “American” holiday we have buried the true meaning in favor of self-indulgence, the big end of summer party.
