Prior to the adjournment of the 117th Congress, lawmakers ended the year with the passage of several important bills that benefit our nation’s ill and injured veterans.

The passage of these bills comes in large part as the result of DAV’s strong grassroots efforts and specifically your advocacy and support over the last year. In 2022, provisions from 49 DAV resolutions were included in legislation introduced by lawmakers and over 460,000 emails were sent to Congress through DAV’s Commander’s Action Network.
