Yesterday we celebrated Veterans Day in the USA. Unfortunately to nowhere near the extent of when I was a little boy. The question seems to always arise is it a Christian duty to serve his country? Does the Bible even speak about it?

Answer: The Bible contains plenty of information about serving in the military. While many of the Bible’s references to the military are only analogies, several verses directly relate to this question. The Bible does not specifically state whether or not someone should serve in the military.
