Tuesday’s presidential debate is a done deal. Both sides of the aisles are claiming victory. Since I belong to neither party I will say that VP Harris looked more polished than I thought she would as she skillfully avoided giving any meaningful answers. President Trump on the other hand looked less prepared than I thought he should have been yet still managed to get his main points across. As some of the articles below acknowledge I think the moderators did a horrendous job.

The fact checkers can be kind of funny. When Trump said we had no inflation during his term of office, as a practical matter, that was correct. As dumb as it may sound, the Fed actually aims for an inflation rate of two percent. For some reason the economists think a little inflation is good for the economy, but I doubt most reporters know that.
On the other hand, the fact checkers can be outright liars. But you know that.
