Many folks, myself included shy away from a deep detailed study of the Book of Revelation. For some, the claim is that it is too hard to understand, while others are afraid of the coming end, for me I feel led to more important discussions in Apologetics. Yet why defend our faith if we do not have faith in the future?
Knowing this, Revelation (the uncovering or unveiling of the truth), especially the first three chapters is John telling us what God showed him. It is a must-read for all Christians. “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near” (1:3).
Our main text for today is an obvious reference to Christ, the risen and now Glorified Saviour. What an honor what a privilege to be witness to He who is worthy of all honor and glory.
