Everyone has an opinion, and thankfully, for now, at least we are still guaranteed the freedom to express our opinions under the 1st amendment. Overall I agree with this writer’s assessment that President Trump SHOULD NOT run again in 2024. My reasoning is slightly different.
As a Constitutionalist, I believe our nation is at a precipice with both sides ready and willing to push the other off the edge. The lefts HATRED of Trump would be the only catalyst needed to make such a scenario play out. I would encourage President Trump to be an active player in the party but not an active candidate.

Not would but could be a problem. Trump would be 74, and like Reagan before him has sworn to leave if his cognitive abilities became an isse. Something our sitting President has trouble with in spades. The bigger issue is dividing an already divided country further.
