2 Corinthians 3
Today America celebrates its 245th birthday. Unfortunately, I fear much of the “Founding Fathers” desires and intent have been lost in translation and we are no longer these “United States of America.”
Much of that is because folks have forgotten what true freedom is all about. We have (a society in general) been brainwashed by mainstream media to think true freedom is all about living an immoral self-centered lifestyle. Nothing could be further from the truth.
As our text for today notes and as both our Founding Fathers and the vast majority of founding documents support, true Freedom can only be found in Christ. When the veil that separates the human mind’s frailty and the revelation of God’s glory is dropped it is truly liberating.
Today as you celebrate with family and friends across America, reflect upon our nation’s Heritage, the cost of freedom, (both in terms of Christ’s Sacrafice and our servicemen and women), and what makes man truly free. I encourage you to PARY FOR AMERICA.
