What is critical race theory?

In this issue of Imprimis, (In-Prime-is), Latin for In the 1st place, Christopher F. Rufo, Founder, and Director, Battlefront a public policy research center takes down the history and truth behind CRT.

In fairness, while I find Hillsdale and Imprimis to always deliver quality truthful insight, I always check out unkonow authors. In researching Mr. Rufo, I must note that I found a miriad of stuff on the web highly critical of his position on CRT (and him personally) from highly liberal sources. Which reinforced my belief his paper was correct.

I asked my parents about what they would think, theoretically, if I joined the military. As proud Americans with the utmost respect for our armed forces, I figured surely they would not have a problem with this idea.

Much to my surprise, the first words out of my mother’s mouth were, “With the way this country is headed, what will there be left to defend?”

“We oppose attempts to ban critical race theory and/or The 1619 Project,” the National Education Association (NEA) said in a resolution late last week. At its 2021 annual meeting, America’s largest teachers’ union — and largest union of any kind — passed a slew of pro-CRT resolutions. They also approved “an already-created, in-depth study that critiques white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy … capitalism … and other forms of power and oppression.” The resolutions amounted to a declaration of war on parent organizations that have sprouted up as sentinels against encroaching wokeness…
