Titus 1:15 (ESV) says: To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. In fact, the whole of Titus 1 is a description of a man (Titus) of good moral consciousness vs. the mainstream evil immoral consciousness of the day in Crete. Without a universal standard (herein I submit God’s Law) how can one determine good?
