Bible Verses on Wisdom

I came across this quote some time ago and never got around to using it until now. It amazes me how smart folks think they can be, I am not talking about mental IQs here but big-picture, worldview-type smarts. You can take a worldly person with a 180 IQ (a real brainiac, Einstein was reported to be 170-190) and they have no solid foundation for their worldly beliefs. All their wisdom, their entire worldview is based solely on theory, hypotheses, or their own individual intuition. Worldly wisdom is about self, it prepares us to navigate the sin-filled world.

As “True Christians” we must REJECT those concepts of worldview and ensure ours is solely anchored in the solid rock of the Holy Word of God. A Biblical or Christian Worldview is ALWAYS from God and ALWAYS honors God. While it helps us to navigate the affairs of this fallen world its greater purpose and promise is to prepare us for eternity.

What is godly wisdom?

The Results of True Wisdom

“The seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace” (James 3:18).
