The founders of this country were very cautious in preparing these documents, concerned that the freedoms they sought could quickly vanish. The real reason for every citizen and patriot to study these documents is to ensure that those liberties are never vanquished and every legitimate citizen has the opportunity to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
