The “Mohammad” Controversy

Most Muslims and many Antichrists (that is anyone who opposes Christianity) claim that Song of Solomon 5:16 actually predicts the arrival of Mohammad. This is totally FALSE!!! It is as as a earlier post noted Bad Biblical Exegesis. Let me break it down; 

CONTEXT: This is a love song about a man (God) and a women (His bride in this case the Nation of Israel). It is an allegory/metaphor/analogy of how two lovers long for each other. 

Hebrew: The Hebrew word מחמד is not written Muhamad but Mah’madim – Plural of Mah’mad (noun in Hebrew for precious thing – pronounced in terminal stress). Its a well known word in Hebrew, with a well known pattern. Can you think of any language that refers to someone (as an individual) in plural form (Mikes, Thomasses, etc.)? No and neither would the Hebrew’s so the idea makes no sense. 

Iron sharpens Iron: There are 13 verses in the Hebrew bible (and those were translated into the Septuagint) where מחמד is mentioned, and in all verses have the exact same meaning. Making an attempt to connect Muhammad to that verse is done in total ignorance to proper Biblical Exegesis.
