I saw this older article today and find it still very relevant. I grew up without a father in the home and speaking from personal experience can say fathers are important for children, especially “good Christian fathers.” – Mike

Is a Generation Cursed Without a Father?
John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah although he was not Elijah. Jesus spoke about John saying that “this is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.“ (Matt 3:3) “And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come” (Matt 11:14)….
