Today we continue our multi-part series on human suffering and God’s role in it. Over the next few weeks, I hope to explore and expand the Doctrine of Human Suffering and help you gain at least a basic understanding of it.
SECTION III: devotional-type studies
As always, I sincerely desire that this and every post will bless you and encourage you to dig deep into the riches of God’s Holy Word.
Depicted below are symbols of what Jesus suffered in crucifixion, so that he may die and become our Risen Savior. They remind us that in all our “suffering,” nothing compares to His, for He was sinless and took on our sin burden so we may live. Throughout this study, we must hold this to the forefront of our minds.
