What magnificent imagery is found in this verse. Unless you have lived your life in a barren desert landscape, everyone has seen trees and shrubs near a waters edge. Their roots always meandering towards the water, fot even seem to know where to find their source of life.
So, too, it is with True Believers, no matter where we find ourselves on a mountain top, a desert, or lush valley we know our source of life can only be found in the Living waters, the Word of God.
