If were to remain,
and wait patiently
we must be willing
to do so obediently.
For a heart anxious,
is one restless
and it often feels
dreary and listless.

and wait graciously
we must be willing
to do so expectantly.
For a mind fretful,
is one hopeless
and it often feels
weak and helpless.
If we’re to remain,
hopeful and upbeat
we cannot let man
our faith deplete!
