Key Verses – GALATIANS 4:6
And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” (NLT)

Think on the quote for a minute. How many pulpits today are preaching the Whole Council of God? That includes the tough verses, the sin nature of man, and the wrath of God?

Just when we had quit on all this faith mumbo jumbo, when our hearts were hardened, when Satan’s lies had convinced us we were so unworthy, the Holy Spirit steps in. God can always cut through the clutter of our lives and reach His elect.

I have noted this before, in the “church” today, there seem to be two extremes (at least to me). On one side, some are very conservative, acknowledging the role of the Holy Spirit in Salvation, but little else. The other camp seems to focus almost entirely on the Holy Spirit and almost downplays our Saviour.
There is a great country song by a group called Diamond Rio, released in 1991, called “Meet in the Middle.” Its theme is about finding common ground. I think there are many ways that some on both sides of this theology could work together for the Kingdom.

Amen, so true. We need the full truth of God’s Word.
And wow, you brought back memories with that song…
Be Blessed and Continue to be a Blessing…
