CONTEXT: This verse confirms three things, first Jesus was sinless, an unblemished sacrifice. Second that only through Christ the Holy unblemished sacrifice can a man be reconciled to God. Third Christ was a willing (and therefore) humble sacrifice.
Servanthood: Humility in Action
“‘Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave’” (Matthew 20:26-27).
In God’s sight, greatness is marked by a humble, servant’s heart.
