I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions for many reasons, but this year I decided to try something different. My resolution this year can be found in Proverbs 3:5-6 -” Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. But in ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.”
This verse doesn’t need much explanation, is easy to understand and is already written on my heart and everyday that God gives to me, I hope that I can follow His simple instruction.
If you are a new believer or have been a believer for a long time, this simple verse can help change your life, but if you truly want to change your life you need a change of heart and that can only be done through Christ’s saving grace. When you relinquish control of your life and allow God to take over, your life will change.
