As my readers are aware, John MacArthur recently passed away to glory. To say he had an influence on my life would be a slight understatement. It was his book, Why One Way, that opened my eyes to the reality of God’s sovereignty in all things and especially in my “accepting” Him as saviour.
Over his 55+ year ministry, he wrote extensively, and I hope to share some of these works (blog/devotionals) regularly. Pastor MacArthur was an advocate of Expository preaching (which I highly endorse) as demonstrated by completing a 42-year-long sermon series of the entire New Testament at Grace Community Church on June 5, 2011.
