PLM Mourns Death of Elva Eubanks
PLM board members were saddened to learn that a devoted pro-life advocate and friend, Elva Glenda Eubanks, passed away on February 17, 2020. Alva was an active volunteer in Mississippi politics, supporting many conservative causes, including Pro-Life Mississippi.
“PLM could always count on her support and advocacy for the unborn,” stated PLM Secretary Judy Batson. “I will especially miss her presence at my table at the Spring Banquet this year.”
PLM gratefully acknowledges the many people who have made donations to our ministry in her memory.

District 7 Organizes as Gulf Coast’s Pro-Life Voice
On February 20, 2020, the PLM Board voted unanimously to accept District 7 into the State Pro-Life Mississippi organization. Working with PLM District liaison Janis Lane, a group of enthusiastic pro-life citizens from ten south Mississippi counties have formed their district association and organized a 10 member board. On January 27 their board elected Dan Carr, Jr. as their president, Angel Middleton as vice president, Debbie Cox as treasurer and Jeremy McGill as secretary. The other 7 board members are Jackie Carr, Mary Pelletier, Roberta Chilimigras, Deborah Moran, Romona McGill and Tiffany Bell.
“We at PLM are elated to see our vision of a truly state-wide pro-life network coming to reality,” stated PLM President Laura Duran. “District 7 will always hold the honor of being the first to respond to the challenge of helping PLM promote the sanctity of all human life, which is under unprecedented attack in our world today.”
District 7 consists of the following counties: Forrest, George, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Lamar, Pearl River, Perry and Stone.
