When 13-year-old Shakaina Masih’s mother arrived to take her home from the job at which she helped with housework, she was informed that her daughter had already left. When Shakaina never showed up, concern soon became alarm as her parents urgently filed a missing person report. After initially delaying to respond, police informed Shakaina’s parents that she had converted to Islam and married a Muslim man last month.

Devastated to learn that their teenage daughter was supposedly married to a man whose name they had never even heard, Shakaina’s parents believe she was abducted. “Shakaina is just a kid,” Shakaina’s father, Johnson Masih told Morning Star News. “She was kidnapped and taken to Okara, where they forcibly converted her and conducted the fake marriage to give it a religious cover.” Many Christian parents in Pakistan fear exactly this occurrence — and it is all too common.

Hundreds of girls from Christian and Hindu backgrounds are kidnapped each year and forcibly converted before being raped and often forced to live as their abductor’s wives. Widespread discrimination and the government’s failure to protect religious freedom creates an environment that enables horrific incidences of forced marriage to thrive. Islamic clerics who solemnize underage marriages, magistrates who make the marriages legal, and corrupt authorities who refuse to investigate all contribute to the problem.

Hardly a day passes without accounts of mass kidnappings of Nigerian schoolchildren, Christian clergy and aid workers gunned down, villages torched, or churchgoers massacred. Africa is in trouble, and the United States and other global leaders must wake up to the horrifying levels of violence suffocating Nigeria and other countries in Africa. In coordination with the United States, new sanctions were placed on several Chinese officials responsible for atrocities in Xinjiang by the United Kingdom, European Union, and Canada. In retaliation, China decided to sanction two U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCRIF) Commissioners, including FRC President Tony Perkins.

“The Chinese Communist Party’s sanctions are nothing but tactics of intimidation, designed to help them save face in an international community that’s denounced their brutal and repressive policies,” Perkins said. It is telling that while Western countries sanction Chinese officials over human rights abuses, China sanctions individuals who merely speak out in defense of the oppressed.

‘God Tells Us to Love Your Neighbor, Not Cancel Your Neighbor’

‘God Tells Us to Love Your Neighbor; Not Cancel Your Neighbor’

As Americans, we take pride in the fact that our forbearers gave their lives for the freedoms we hold dear. As recent events have shown, however, we can’t afford to take those freedoms for granted and assume we won’t have to fight for them here and now. As was made clear during FRC’s Pray Vote Stand broadcast last night, the threats to religious freedom in America are real, but believers must realize that if we step up to the challenge, God will use these trials for His glory, especially when we show grace under fire…

Abortions worldwide this year:

The number of abortions performed worldwide so far this year and counting.

This corresponds to approximately 125,000 abortions per day.

In the USA, where nearly half of pregnancies are unintended and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion [1], there are over 3,000 abortions per day. Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. [2]

Stats are from

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest provider and promoter of abortion.  In 2019, Planned Parenthood performed 345,672 abortions.  Only 4,279 patients were referred to outside agencies for adoptions; therefore, abortions outnumbered adoption referrals by nearly 81 to 1.  According to their 2019 annual report, Planned Parenthood received $616,800,000 from taxpayers and made a profit of $110,500,000.

Abortion is unlike any other issue debated today. Millions of American women have aborted a child, and the pain, loss, and emotional need to justify what was done, both on the part of the mother and on the part of her loved ones, is strong and deep. This means that, in any debate, you may face an invisible thumb on the scale so that even the best logic will fail to persuade.

The best you can do is arm yourself with the facts and deliver them in what you hope will be a winning way for your audience — meaning you will need to make your case, in most instances, not in the language of faith or religion but in the language of the post-modern secularist.

What follows, therefore, are the best arguments from science, the law, and women’s rights to advance the pro-life case against abortion.

It’s Time – October 11th is Freedom Sunday

It’s time. You are invited to join with churches and Christians across the nation for Freedom Sunday on October 11th, a national live stream event from Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Chino, CA.

Freedom Sunday will address the church’s scriptural and constitutional authority of religious freedom despite government restrictions and overreach. Right now, there are many things that have caused a great deal of fear. But God does not call us to live in a spirit of fear, but calls us to faith, love, and power through Christ.

8 PM ET | 7 PM CT | 6 PM MT | 5 PM PT

You can watch this event live on October 11th at

Share this invitation with your church along with pastors and leaders in your community as we all unite to take a stand for religious freedom in this country.

Sex Education in Public Schools:

If you have a child in Public Schools this is a MUST READ article

Sex Education in Public Schools:

Sexualization of Children and LGBT Indoctrination

By Cathy Ruse Senior Fellow and Director of Human Dignity

**DISCLAIMER: This brochure includes some graphic descriptions of sex education class content.

Not so long ago, sex education in public schools involved a couple of uncomfortable hours looking at simple line drawings showing human growth and development and listening to advice on how to be careful, respect others, and save sex for marriage.

Things are very different today. The “facts of life” have not changed, but “inclusivity” and “sex positivity” and other popular buzz-word concepts have changed sex education.

Despite studies showing that modern sex education fails to achieve its stated goals and results in increased student sexual activity, school systems are devoting up to 70 hours of classroom time per child to sex education.

Well-funded international pressure groups have been extraordinarily successful in pushing what they call “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) into American public schools, an agenda-driven curriculum that sexualizes children. In CSE, youth sex is normalized, and the concept of “sexual rights” and radical sexual ideology for youth is advanced.

Education has given way to indoctrination. Consider the emergence of no-opt-out laws and policies that revoke the right of parents to opt their children out of sexuality-based lessons in some states.

Parents have two main concerns about sex ed today: That it sexualizes children and that it is loaded with LGBTQ indoctrination. This pamphlet will reveal troubling examples of each problem, will discuss the powerful organizations behind it all, and then will offer some action steps for parents to consider in their fight to protect the health and innocence of their children.

President to Pastors: Pray for Strength

You can criticize President Trump all you want, but in a time of crisis he has no issue going the men of God and beseeching prayer for our Nation.

March 23, 2020

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves (R) is used to conducting business from his office — not Sunday devotions. But over the past weekend, he decided — America could use a little more of both.

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed,” the governor read from 2 Corinthians 4:8-9. The prayer service, which Reeves announced on his Facebook page, was his way of connecting to an anxious community. “We all need some fellowship and God’s grace in this time,” he urged.

During his impromptu Bible study, Governor Reeves encouraged people to help their neighbors as much as they can and then led the state in prayer for Mississippi and President Trump’s leadership team “as they deal with this once-in-a-lifetime pandemic across the globe.” Before closing, he shared John 3:16 and reminded everyone, “You’ll notice it doesn’t speak to Baptists or Methodists or Pentecostals or Catholics or any other denomination,” he said. “For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

In other places across the country, Sunday usual ministry was replaced by something a lot more personal. Pastor Hernan Castaño, one of the “Houston Five” and founder of Iglesias Rios De Aceite, spent seven hours praying for carloads of families in his church parking lot — one right after another. He prayed with them, laid hands on their windshields, and tried to be an encouragement.

Others, like Danville, Kentucky’s Bryan Montgomery, was one of the pastors inspired by FRC’s conference call with the president, vice president, and Secretary Ben Carson to start thinking creatively about what his congregation could do to reach out to the local community. “Our country is at its best when we are serving others,” he told a local reporter. “The church is going to have to adapt,” he agreed, but as much struggle as it may be, all of that hard work will eventually pay off. Pastors are going to thrive as they serve their cities during this crisis,” he insisted.

And it’s not just American leaders calling their nation to prayer. Leaders around the world have watched the United States’ response — and our president’s open calls for prayer — and urged their own people to turn to God. Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei, seeing Trump’s proclamation on March 15, followed up with one of his own a week later. “Dear fellow citizens, I invite you to make this day a fast, a day of prayer. Let us unite regardless of our creed this Saturday before Sunday, the day of God. Let us unite Guatemalans in fasting and prayer and make our requests that God bless Guatemala.”

Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele admitted that not everyone in his cabinet may believe but asked the rest to bow their heads and join him in prayer. Governor of Mis, Mario Abdo Benítez of Paraguay, and former Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales made similar pleas. Costa Rico’s Alvarado pointed to the other presidents asking for God’s wisdom and insisted that his country should never be “ashamed to say our trust is in God.”

In the darkness of crisis, people are looking for the light. It’s our great privilege to be a part of a nation — and under an administration — shining it for the whole world to see.

Trump Administration Accomplishments

Hate “him” or love “him there is no denying the list of things President Trump has managed to accomplish especially considering the hostile environment congress he has been dealing with since elected.

Personally I find him brash and many times outright obnoxious, I wish he would stop the tweets and act more presidential, yet that is not Donald Trump and that does not define his ability to lead. In fact those characteristics would have made him a great general officer in the military. – Mike

In one of his first actions as president, Trump reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy, which blocks funding for international organizations that perform or promote abortions. He promoted the nuclear family by signing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law. And his administration has taken a special interest in protecting religious liberty on both the home and international fronts. President Trump has shown consistent concern for protecting life, the natural family, and religious liberty and has taken steps to advance our shared values unlike any other modern president.

Check out this extensive list of the Trump administration’s accomplishments. Then, share this list with your friends, family, and community to let them know why the 2020 election is so important to continuing these policies.
