The picture below depicts a man rock climbing up a steep mountain face. I have only tried rock climbing a few times in my life and have never done anything that difficult. I did, however, repel out of a helicopter, which many think is crazy or stupid.
In doing either action “holding on” was critical to success. As Debra Ann points out, the same is true in our Christian walk.
