Unfathomable oceans of grace are in Christ for you. Dive and dive again — you will never come to the bottom of these depths!
Short, pithy gems from Robert Murray McCheyne, 1813-1843 https://www.gracegems.org/
Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
All who are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive?
Verse 3, Marvelous grace of our loving Lord Author: Julia H. Johnston (1910)
I quickly searched the 5,300+ articles on our website, and 20% of them have content related to God’s Grace. However, only four (4) have focused on “Sola Gratia.” The importance of Sola Gratia, the doctrine of by Grace Alone, should not be understated; it is one of the five solas of the Protestant Reformation.
One of the most commonly referenced Bible verses for this is:
8 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; 9 not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].
Ephesians 2:8-9 Amplified Bible
So, too, in the book of Titus, we find:

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Titus 2:11-12
.
God’s divine grace is inseparable from our salvation, and its importance can not be understated. The numerous Bible references in the PDF File God’s Grace—LST below all point to the importance of God’s Grace in our Salvation. Also, this article by Got Questions Ministry does a good job of explaining: Why is sola gratia important?
But what happens after Saving Grace? Does God’s doctrine of Salvation end there? The Apostle Paul said it well, If we who are [abiding] in Christ have hoped only in this life [and this is all there is], then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied, 1 Corinthians 15:19. Paul says if we are counting on glories in this life based upon God’s Grace and doing nothing for the future, we are miserable and to be pitied.
The Doctrine of Salvation by Grace Alone demands that we do something with our newfound freedom. In the Devotional below, Paul once again urges us to “…walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called.” If you are truly a born-again believer, it is time to get off the pew and be a ‘just doer for Christ.’ Find your calling big or small and honor the Grace God has bestowed upon you.

From Doctrine to Duty
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called” (Ephesians 4:1).
There can be no right living without the right principles.
