If you are reading or watching most (non-mainstream) US news today, the talk at the moment is all about liberty (freedom) for the Ukrainian people. I get it, the invasion of Ukraine by Russia is a dishonorable thing, worthy of condemnation. However, we must never lose sight of the fact that true liberty can only be found in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 5:1

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. (ESV)
