Less Than Half of Americans Find Pastors to Be ‘Trustworthy Sources of Wisdom,’ Research Finds

Two things about this article. First I would always encourage all folks to be Bereans Acts 17:11 and search out the scripture on their own that they read, hear, or are taught. This is a means to build oneself up in the Word and to ensure, the accuracy of what is being shared. Secondly, as the famous movie line goes “Run Forest Run” if you do not have full confidence in your pastors’ ability to share Biblical wisdom, it is time to time a different church.


According to new data from Barna Research Group, less than half of American adults, including non-Christians, find pastors to be “very reliable” sources of wisdom when it comes to spiritual matters.
