
2:¹ But as for you, teach what accords with sound[a] doctrine...7 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. Titus 2:1, 7-8
It is clear that in this the beginning of chapter 2 Paul, is extolling the virtues of sound doctrine to Titus. He says to always teach with sound doctrine, that is use the things you have been taught that were taught by Christ Jesus. He then lists a bunch of stuff that is completely against this type of sound teaching. In verses 7 & 8 Paul states the reason for always using sound doctrine. That others will look on us as models of integrity and so that no one can ever say evil of us. Oh that many would heed this today. Getting GFA and other indigenous Pastors proper theological training should be the goal to prevent future occurrences. – Mike

One of America’s largest ministries—in 2013 alone, it brought in about $93.8 million—GFA faced two lawsuits accusing it of sending only 13 percent of its donations to the field instead of the oft-promised 100 percent.
The first of those lawsuits was dismissed so it could go to arbitration. Then its plaintiffs were included in the second lawsuit—along with about 200,000 others who donated between January 2009 to September 2018—when the suit switched to a class action in the fall…
