I do not know about you but when I was a young child I did not like the darkness very much. It hid all kinds of unseen dangers (boogeyman, ghosts etc.). As I grew older those fears seem to subside more and more until one day they disappeared. What had changed, first and foremost my relationship with God. I now understood that the Light (Christ) had conquered the darkness and nothing could put out His flame. – Mike
