You can be religious in your use of Christian terminology; you can be religious inside a Christian church.  But one of the vital aspects of Christianity is that our activities are always the result of his activity.  It is the “well of water,” it is the life within that stimulates.  “God worketh in you both to will and to do” before you have ever done anything.  Why did you desire it?  Why did you will it?  That is the question.  We move because we are moved; we act because of the stimulus that has come apart from ourselves.
