We must never be surprised when the Truth is attacked. Jesus the Word of Truth showed us, He would be an example of such attacks. Also, it is good to remember Proverbs 12:19 ESV Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment, and Proverbs 19:9 ESV A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish.
