Be sober and be vigilant,
for satan’s alive and well
always be on the alert
for the falsehoods he tells.

Keep your eyes on him,
for he’s roaming all around
and it brings him pleasure
when he can take you down.

The nearer you are to God,
the closer he will move in
he’ll use any device he can
to trap you into habitual sin.

He is known to be a liar,
for he wants you to believe
God’s mercy and forgiveness
you’ll never be able to receive.

So do not be deceived,
when satan starts to woo
just remember greater is He . . .
that lives inside of you!
