I am not ashamed,
of the hope I hold
for it has rendered
my faith strong and bold.

For I’ve experienced,
test and trials galore
and grew in patience
amidst their uproar.

I am not ashamed,
of God’s love for me
for I am convinced
in what I cannot see.

For I’ve been through,
countless storms in life
and found the patience
to endure their strife.

I am not ashamed,
of placing in God my hope
for His Spirit gives to me . . .
the patience I need to cope!
