We Who Trust God ~

Some trust in wealth,
and worldly things
some trust in a job
and the money it brings.

Some trust in government,
and man’s own wisdom
some trust in the rules
of a godless driven system.

Some trust in friends,
phones and computers
some trust in the media
to control their future.

Some trust in applause,
celebrity and fame
some trust in passing
onto others the blame.

But we who trust God,
don’t rely on these things . . .
for we put our faith in the power
just saying His name brings!

but we will remember
the name of the Lord our God.
