Each day we need to renew,
in God our faith and trust
as so much bad news on us
everyday they seem to thrust.

We need to read and study,
His life giving Word
so we can rise above
the bad tiding we have heard.

Each day we need to refresh,
in us God’s mercy and grace
so we will have the strength
as more concern’s we face.

We need to pray to God,
without ever once ceasing
so we can maintain our hope
as difficulties keep increasing.

Each day we need to renew,
our hearts and minds . . .
so a right spirit in us
God will be able to find!
