Today Father,
is a brand new one
a time to be glad
for Your living Son.
A day to rejoice,
for all things new
a day to give . . .
my praise to You.
Today Father,
You have made
for me to remember
the price Jesus paid.
A day to reflect,
on His love and grace
a time before Him
my sin I need to face.
Today Father,
is the day Jesus rose
oh, how glad I am . . .
my heart He knows!
