About a year ago I did a daily devotional on James 13-18 entitled Wisdom Begins and End With God as a reminder here is some of it:

 ^v.13 So you think you are smart, have wisdom and understanding? Well do not show off and brag about it, but instead humbly demonstrate your wisdom through good works for God’s Glory.

Conclusion – we have a choice to make daily. We can rely upon our own smarts (dumb de dumb, dumb) or go to God humbly and ask for our daily portion of Wisdom.
