May the eyes of your faith,
be so enlightened . . .
may the hope of Jesus
be in you heightened.
For there is great power,
when in God we do trust
for He has put His spirit
right into each one of us.
May your confidence,
be filled with God’s might
so the hope of your calling
may inflame and ignite.
For there is no other One,
on whom we can rely
only God our strength
and power can supply.
May the eyes of your faith,
be flooded with His light
for it is on His power
we are called to fight!
