The wall…
provided protection in that day…
but parts were torn down…
so the enemy could get through that way.
So it’s people were exposed…
to those who wanted to harm…
for the protection was gone…
unless it’s inhabitants were armed.
So Nehemiah had to rebuild it…
to restore the protection…
but all pitched in to help…
for the wall of Jerusalem erection.
For the boundaries of the city…
had to have clear lines…
with gates for approved entrance…
which reminds many of similar times.
For many people have alarms and walls…
around their homes for protection today…
with some even having bodyguards…
when they leave the safety of walls each day.
